Welcome to the Sucker Punch. This model was designed with ease of use in barrels and steep fast breaking waves. The outline, being very parralell makes for easy paddeling and quick planing. Making it ideal for hollow surf. The shovel nose helps to keep the front half of the outline straight while increasing the plaining area under your front foot. This feature allows this model to be ridden 4-6 inches shorter than your standard shortboard. It also helps stabilize the front on re-entry, floaters and airs. The rounded pin tail provides exceptional hold while reducing the surface area enough for tight arching turns under the lip.
